Elizabeth Protti-Patterson, Au.D. (NJ HA #547, PA #496), has a master of science degree from the University of Oklahoma Medical Center and a doctorate of audiology from Salus University. With over 35 years of experience in the area of audiology, she has developed an expertise in the areas of hearing aids and diagnostic testing for all age clients. In addition, she has developed a reputation in her skills as a pediatric and educational audiologist — maintaining a high level of expertise in central auditory processing testing and assistive auditory devices appropriate for the classroom setting. Infant hearing testing programs and subsequent follow up testing, including hearing aid fittings, are an integral part of her work experience. Ms. Patterson presently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She has published widely in the areas of auditory processing disorders and continues to pursue her expertise in this area. She works both from Voorhees and Philadelphia.
Dr. Patterson is a licensed audiologist and dispenser in both PA and NJ, practicing in NJ. She is the owner of REM Audiology. She has a speciality in tinnitus management.
Doris A. Rapisardi is a licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser and Audiologist and NJAHHP member.
Joanne became an Audiologist because of hearing loss in her family and the deafness of her beloved maternal grandmother.
She is a graduate of Boston University and received her Master's Degree in Audiology from Temple University in Philadelphia. In 1991, Joanne received a CAGS degree in Administration from Gallaudet University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association, the national certifying body for Audiologists.
Joanne has extensive experience in the hearing health care field. For 20 years, she has worked as a territory sales manager for prominent hearing aid manufacturers and, recently, she was a national audiology trainer for a LYRIC invisible hearing aid. As a manufacturer representative, Joanne has taught hearing aid technology, software programs, hearing aid fittings and small business development and management.

James Saad is BC-HIS, Board Certified by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. James and his brother Richard provide the comprehensive care and service to help every customer lead a better quality of life though better hearing.
Founded by their father in 1951, their practice continues to be dedicated to the expert fitting of hearing aids and to serving the hearing impaired in the Cape May area community.
He serves on the NJAHHP Board of Trustees.
Richard Saad, BC-HIS, treats patients at his family practice in Cape May Court House. He is an active member of NJAHHP.
Mark Salvesen is the owner/operator of Professional Hearing Aid Center in Hackensack. In 1986, Mark became the youngest licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in New Jersey and went on to become the youngest to be Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. He has been a member of the International Hearing Society since 1989 and is also a member of the American Auditory Society. He is also a current member of New Jersey Association of Hearing Health Professionals.
Stephanie Sanzari, HIS is a NJ Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. Stephanie began working as a Front Office Administrator and enjoyed the industry so much that she decided to become a Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser. She adds a personal touch to all of her work, creating relationships with each of her patients. Her goal is to make sure that all of her patients understand the importance of wearing their hearing aids properly and to educate them as much as possible about their devices. Stephanie's enthusiastic and friendly personality makes any visit an enjoyable one. She finds it to be extremely rewarding to be able to give the gift of hearing back to her patients on daily basis.
Jennifer Schaal-Sampson, AuD, CCC-A has owned American Family Hearing Center since 1995. She completed her Doctorate in Audiology in August, 2000. She is a New Jersey licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. Through the years, American Family Hearing Center has helped thousands of patients achieve better hearing and we are committed to providing the highest possible patient satisfaction.

Dr. Schaal-Sampson is currently serving a second five-year appointment to the New Jersey Hearing Aid Dispensers Examining Committee and she has served two terms as the board president.
Dr. Schaal-Sampson was one of the first Audiologists in the State of New Jersey to complete the Doctorate of Audiology through the University of Florida. She is member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Schaal-Sampson attended Douglass College at Rutgers University for her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science and received her Master's in Audiology from George Washington University. She received her clinical doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2000. She has been working as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser since 1993 in a variety of clinical settings. In March 1995, she purchased American Family Hearing Center in Allenhurst. As the owner of American Family Hearing Center, she has upgraded the facility and added advanced diagnostic and hearing aid fitting techniques including: central auditory processing testing and digital hearing aids. She provides audiology and hearing aid services to several area nursing homes and has had a satellite office at Seabrook Village Medical since 1999. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at the College of New Jersey.
