Dr. Buchholtz received his Doctor of Audiology degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology in 2006. Prior to this, Dr. Buchholtz earned his Master of Arts in Audiology in 2003 and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2001 at The College of New Jersey. Dr. Buchholtz is clinically certified by the American Speech Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow in the American Academy of Audiology, where he served as the chair of the Ethical Practices Committee. He holds state Audiology licensures in New York and New Jersey, as well as a Hearing Aid Dispensing license in these states. He specializes in adult and geriatric Audiology, and hearing aid fittings. Dr. Buchholtz also has advanced training and experience with patients who suffer dizziness and other balance disorders.

Edward LaDuca is a board certified hearing instrument specialist and brings more than 20 years’ experience as a New Jersey Hearing Aid Dispenser. Edward is certified by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences, is a member of the International Hearing Society, and on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Association of Hearing Health Professionals. During the annual NJAHHP Convention he can be seen running the Silent Auction.

Jared Talarico graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilmington University, and is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Jared has worked in different areas of New Jersey where he has discovered the importance of helping people hear as well as the pivotal role he is able to play in educating the community on hearing health. He helps as many people as possible hear and understand to the best of their abilities. His warm, welcoming personality makes it easy for him to connect and relate to his patients quickly. He is committed to providing the best hearing care possible to his patients, as well as the best customer service experience they can receive. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Jared was elected to the Board during the 2017 NJAHHP General Membership Meeting.

Jennifer Schaal-Sampson, AuD, CCC-A has owned American Family Hearing Center since 1995. She completed her Doctorate in Audiology in August, 2000. She is a New Jersey licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. Through the years, American Family Hearing Center has helped thousands of patients achieve better hearing and we are committed to providing the highest possible patient satisfaction.

Dr. Schaal-Sampson is currently serving a second five-year appointment to the New Jersey Hearing Aid Dispensers Examining Committee and she has served two terms as the board president.

Dr. Schaal-Sampson was one of the first Audiologists in the State of New Jersey to complete the Doctorate of Audiology through the University of Florida. She is member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Schaal-Sampson attended Douglass College at Rutgers University for her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science and received her Master's in Audiology from George Washington University. She received her clinical doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2000. She has been working as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser since 1993 in a variety of clinical settings. In March 1995, she purchased American Family Hearing Center in Allenhurst. As the owner of American Family Hearing Center, she has upgraded the facility and added advanced diagnostic and hearing aid fitting techniques including: central auditory processing testing and digital hearing aids. She provides audiology and hearing aid services to several area nursing homes and has had a satellite office at Seabrook Village Medical since 1999. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at the College of New Jersey.
