The Northeast Conference held its 33rd Annual Continuing Education Program at the fabulous Seaview Golf & Spa Resort. "Hearing Healthcare: “Changing Times/New Challenges" delivered up-to-the-minute current information with immediate relevancy to attendees for practice skills, product offerings, and legislative issues. The list of topics and speakers for the Conference were drawn from nationally recognized authorities.
This program was especially important to attend as we face health insurance companies and retail chains promoting the sale of online hearing healthcare like never before. For Hearing Health Care providers this brings forth new challenges and opportunities for Clinical Audiology and Dispensing practices. For the first time ever, representatives from all the state’s major Audiology/Hearing Aid professional societies convened to discuss our efforts to ensure that the people we serve receive quality care.
The program gave attendees a direct interactive opportunity to discuss concerns and solutions with a variety of industry leaders. The Conference was fun as well as informative. By popular demand, we returned to the Dolce Seaview Golf and Spa Resort. On Wednesday we had a golf outing with discounted greens fees, and time available for a massage or beauty treatment. Thursday night, the Association hosted our Annual Gala cocktail party.
Door prizes, special events, and most importantly attendees had the opportunity to meet with colleagues and manufacturers to learn the latest that the field has to offer.
The Conference was approved for 1.0 CEU credits from ASHA and AAA, and 10 CEU credits from IIHIS. New York State Continuing Education Credits were also available upon request.
